Weak Link

Weak-Link (Breakaway Link)

A breakaway connector designed to be installed between the tagline and the hoist hook, or rescue device. The weak-link is engineered to separate under a set load, allowing the tagline to break away before it becomes a hazard to personnel or the aircraft.

Key Features:

• Breaking strength of approximately 80 lbs
• Buckle-style design with carabiners on each end
• Can be used in pairs for heavier loads (approx. 200 lbs combined)
• Compact and easy to stow in a tagline bag
• Recommended for one-time operational use; replace after operational deployment
